Being the development of computer technology, software architecture and development method have been changed. Now the system of software must has manageability, dependability, extensibility, security etc. The extensibility of system now is a important question to building software system. In order to develop software with high efficient and high extensibility software, people always search better software architecture and development method.E-gov is a software to manage businesses in government. It applies network communication and computer technology to manage the intern business of government via network. But there is a question-lower extensibility, it decrease the concurrent and efficient.Because of lower tradition software extensibility and flexibility question, people research many method to resolve software extensibility question, such as automating code, Plug-in etc. Plug-in has many excellency: it can free input, delete and exchange in software system, so researching how to develop software base Plug-in has very important signification.In this thesis , first of all, analysis the kinds of software extensibility with feature; secondly introduce detail in recently the method of implementing software extensibility, such as automating code and Plug-in and so on, and compare them; finally use Plug-in architecture improve the extensibility of E-gov system .
