As the kernel of Internet, technology of routing is surely the emphasis of studies in network fields. There have been lots of material efforts researching in it.To improve the performance of routers on backbone networks, the scheme of high-speed network switching based on hardware has been developed. There are other great efforts focusing on extensive BGP routing measurement, from which a great deal of valuable data has been obtained, and many important phenomenons, such as delayed route convergence and AS PATH inflation, are observed. We concern that what is the complete attribute set of routing infrastructure is decisive before implementing new routing protocol. Having surveyed the attribute set of routing protocol concerned at present, we add a new fatal attribute, symmetry and transfer, to the set mentioned above, which will show great impact on the emergeing large-scale distributed computing based on Internet. Our experiment data shows clearly that ,with the policy routing mechanism of present Internet, the monbid character of IP incomplete connectivity has reached to a quite degree,in other words, it is much asymmetric and non-transferable.Furthermore, this irrational situation becomes worse remarkably with enlarged scale of Internet. From 12 groups of experimental data,we can find that the average possibility of asymmetric IP connectivity is about 2%,and reaching max of 10% at some routers. We also get a consistent result that the average possibility of asymmetric IP connectivity increases notably with network scale under 4 distinct policy intensity.Meanwhile, from the same experimental data, we find that the average possibility of a non-transferable IP connectivity is 1%, and reaching max of 5% at some routers. The average possibility of non-transferable IP connectivity increases with network scale consistently under 4 diffrent policy intensity. At the end of this discussion, we point out that the asymmetric and non-transferable property of present Internet routing mechanism is hard to get rid of ,due to introducing ideal of AS and independent management , as well as establishing the benefit of ISP simply on competitive IP connectivity.
