Electro-hydraulic servo valve test is of very importance in scientific research and engineering .The application of computer-aided test (CAT) provides a brilliant future for characteristic test of servo valve and the technique of virtual instruments brings CAT into a new developing stage. This dissertation carries on the transformation on the basis of original CSP production line of zhujiang steel co., ltd., with test technology, computer technology, virtual instrument technology, makes a set of electric-hydraulic servo valve static and dynamic statecharacteristic test bedstand-----CSP-CAT system. Relevant theories and methodsare also studied.During the process of designing and developing CAT system of hydraulic bedstand, there are lots of relevant theories involved. For instance, data acquisition and processing, digital signal processing, figure processing, signal and system, automatic control, hydraulic transmission, hydraulic servo control, virtual instrument, point-by-point frequency sweeping method, and so on.On the hardware, CSP-CAT hardware system links with C7 controller of original CSP bedstand by signal converse case. When CAT/C7 knob is on the place of "CAT", the tested valve and control signal are joined to CSP-CAT system. In the way of loading, electro-hydraulic proportional valve is used . This design realizes automation of loading, shortens the testing time, lightens work of experiment assistants and makes a progress towards the automatic of whole hydraulic test. In addition, in the dynamic state characteristic test of electro-hydraulic servo vale and proportional valve, frequency sweeping method is adopted to gain more ideal degree of accuracy.In the software, the prevailing, powerful, flexible programming languageā€”visual C++ is used with Windows 98 operating system. SVCAT, an exclusive software package for automatic test of static and dynamic characteristic of electro-hydraulic servo valve and proportional valve, has been developed. Its man-machine interface is friendly, easy to read and maintain. This testing systemalso includes a serial of virtual instruments, saves real instruments and lowers the expenditure.
