With the development at full speed of Internet, in order to flow such broadband business as Internet-DTV and HDTV that the media appears ,etc. are rich and colorful day by day. at home and abroad, the quality of service problem has more effective studying too on base of Streaming media application. But Ethernet technology change with each passing day too in recent years, The demand of transmitting real-time streaming in the LAN become heavier and heavier too.However, Internet exchanged on base of packet was not transmitted and designed for the real-time , incessant streaming media, so Internet and streaming media's system on Ethernet will all receive the restriction of 4 following respects: Quality restrain , scale restrain , interactive restrain , QoS limit.Under the environment of Ethernet, it is still a key question that the quality of service to restrict the media uses development. To be simple, because the state of Ethernet is not reliable , its bandwidth , load ,etc. change violently , it is difficult to satisfy streaming media real-time character ,and often lead to the fact that broadcasts getting stuck , delay , such bad situations as video quality shakes violently , cause very great influence to user's sense . So based on above, how to research the quality of service of streaming media have important theory value and practical meaning to transmit when guarantee really in the non- real-time network.In order to guarantee better QoS that the media transmits in real time flow, must consider from each link of the real-time transmission course , let each link reach certain performance , and in concert and harmony each other. This subject does the following research to some focal point respects among them : (1)Improve QoS control strategy (2)managed the buffer memory area (3) The synchronous technology of the audio and video (4) other relevant key technology (5 ) DirectShow technologyThis text the last chapter developed a simple network streaming media transmission system based on DirectShow technology, cooperate with several pieces of key technology studied above, Compare with finding through testing, in the video on demand of the network, video conference, network radio station , video monitor etc. and made the obvious result while using.
