Firstly the space optical communication technology and the microwave communication technology are compared in this paper, and the wide application foreground in satellite communication is mentioned. Afterwards, the current situation of studying this technology in the some developed country was introduced in detail, thus the purpose of studying this technology is given. Then the basic principle, the system structure are introduced, and an initial way of the system is presented, including the choice of light source modulation way of light, the design of optical antenna and PAT subsystem and the parameters of light sending set and receiver. Subsequently, the received power and bit error ratio are calculated, the results show that the parameters design of communication link can meet the demand of the bit error ratio. Finally, a bandwidth self-adaptive method for bit error ratio from satellite vibration is put out and a mathematics model is established. By calculating the bit error ratios of the self-adaptive system and the normal system, a conclusion is given that the self-adaptive method is effective for the improvement of the system bit error ratio.
