Dsp-based Digital Audio Signal Processing

This paper presents in detail a DSP digital audio processor and frequency response equalizer of the speaker. Audio effect would make us to take more pleasure when we listen to music. The system principle and working method are discussed in detail.Firstly, the principle of digital audio process and audio effect are introduced, and the structure of audio system is described. The method of compensating the frequency response of the speakers is presented with an equalizer.Secondly, a simulation with MATLAB and CCS is worked out to realized the audio effects. The principle of the digital equalizer is presented. After obtaining the frequency response of the speaker, a digital equalizer is given.Thirdly, the hardware circuit of the system is introduced, which includes a principal system and a sub-system. The principal system includes AT89C52 system , a keyboard and a displayer, and the sub-system includes a TMS320C5402 and PCM3001. And PCM3001 is a stereo audio CODEC, its function in the system is given.Finally, the principle of controlling software and the flow chart are introduced.
