Polarization Information And Variable Polarization Technology

In this thesis, some concepts about expression of polarization and some basic theories of synthesizing ellipse polarization are introduced, the polarization matching relation between receiving antennae and incident wave is analyzed and the optimization of echo power receiving is discussed. Using the software Matlab, the paper makes a study of the simulation figures about the polarization-scattering characters of the typical detect targets. As for polarization filters, the important component of the polarization switchable Receive-Transmit(RT) system, the paper researches into the polarization filters from such aspects as polarization loss, filtering errors and amelioration of Signal Interference Ratio. Based on those theories, theory of variable polarization transceiver structure is discussed and a scheme of variable polarization system is proposed.
