More and more communication terminal was used with the advent of 3G eras; it's inevitable to produce the interference each other for use of this terminal. Therefore, avoiding the interference is a big problem to be research. HiperLAN/2 is a perfected WLAN communication protocol, which was edited by ETSI BRAN. The protocol adopt some good aspects from IEEE 802.11,meanwhile it improve some new technology such as Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), which is used to avoid the interference of WLAN. As far as DFS is concerned, it defines the communication protocol, but never define how to check the interference and switch frequency. This thesis first analyses the interference, the way to avoid it and the protocol of HiperLAN/2,and then simulate the BER performance. Finally, it brings forward a design for interference checking and frequency switching. In this thesis, I mainly deal with two novel tasks: the one simulated the BER performance of communication system that has DFS function. The other is design a circuit with FPGA to control the function. By doing these, we can implement the pivotal technology of the DFS.
