In civil use, as the combine result of computer network and radio communication technology, using RF (radio frequency) technology in WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) for receiving and transmitting data in air, replaces and offers the function of the classic line connected LAN. In military, since radar was invented and applied in the Second Word War, its application has fast expanded to many other fields. Nowadays we use radar to guide planes to safely land in cloudy and blizzard days. Planes and naval vessels also use radar as the guidance system in heavy weather. In weather forecast, weathercaster put the radar chart on television every day. In martial application, radar has become an important part of equipment. It is not only used to search and detect the enemy's plane, naval vessel and vehicle, but also used to act as weapon guidance. As we can see, not only in civil but also in military field, radio frequency receiver play a more and more important role in radio communication. This paper deeply and detailed discussed the principle, design and test work on the critical devices of RF (radio frequency) front_end receiver. Together seven chapters: The first chapter, simple initiated some base information about RF receiver, and analysis the chief scheme and specific devices'index distribute of receiver. The second chapter, discuss and analysis the operational principle and theory knowledge of circle polarization microstrip antenna. Use two kinds of authority software HFSS and CST in high frequency field, giving 5GHz circle polarization microstrip antenna design process and measure consequence. The third chapter, comparative simple initiate operational principle and index of performance of PIN use in microwave switch, and give the design process of use Agilent company's ADS software and test data of the center frequency 5GHz and frequency range 4~6GHz broadband & high power receive and dispatch switch. The fourth chapter, initiate the operational principle and function of limiter. And design the 4~6GHz low power level limiter with comparative creative idea.
