Analysis of microstrip structure has very practical signification because of its extensive applications in many fields. In this paper, some effective methods are proposed for analyzing the electromagnetic scattering from finite microstrip array, especially large arrays. And as for the paper, the spatial Green's function of microstrip structure is obtained through the discrete complex image method first and the extraction of quasi-dynamic images and surface waves is avoided in this method. Then the method of moment is applied for this structure, and it is validated by comparing with the reference's results. At last a fast and effective method is proposed. It combines the finite array Green's function with the method of moment and effectively improves the computation efficiency of the analysis of electromagnetic scattering by large finite microstrip array. This method is adapted to microstrip arrays with arbitrarily shaped element by choosing RWG basis functions. At the same time, some results obtained of different shaped models such as rectangular and cross-shaped element are compared with the results of the method of moment to validate this method.
