Bank Decision Support System And Implementation Of Olap Technology

OLAP(Online Analytical Processing) is the main way for users to obtain decision support from the data warehouse. To realize analysis and decision-making better,and raise efficiency and effectivity of analysis and decisionmaking in bank,this project emphasizes the critical technology in realizing OLAP after analyzing some technology such as OLAP and DW.This project first proposes one extended star model,in which there is a special dimesion whose granularity structure like a tree.Basing on the extended star model ,We design logical and physical data model of OLAP and provide a solution to create OLAP data model having general interface of visiting data .Then this project emphasizes the computation of Data Cube .We disicuss some materializing strategy of Data Cube,and propose several policies for compututation of Data Cube that can reduce I/O number of times and raise utilization of memory .At the same time we provide a algorithm of compututation of Data Cube.After that this project provides a component model of OLAP data navigating.We give out some optimization technology to raise speed of multidimesion analysis.At last we sum up what have been done and outlook what will be done.
