With the rapidly development of space techniques and Information techniques, the high resolution secondary planet can supply human with the digital images of high accuracy and large capability. Target extraction from images has become the important means of the space Information updating, and has been used extensively in the national economic production and martial target detection. There are many method for target extraction from images, but the special method to the high resolution image is mere. Wavelet transform and fractal theory are newest and there are many studies for them. Base on the former studies, author uses the wavelet transform and fractal theory to the high resolution image. Through the analyse of the experiment these method can be proved practicability.Thought introduction about IKONOS secondary planet and its image and commonly information extraction from images, this paper bring forward using wavelet transform and fractal theory to extract information of IKONOS.On the basis of introduction IKONOS's yawp type, mathmodle, campare with the traditional denoising method, we indicate wavelet transform denoising's superority .. extremum selections the method of wavelet formation.and wavelet transform extremum denoising flow. Through the analyse of the experiment we can find that the iamge can be smoothness by the method of wavelet transform denoising,.Using fractal brown modle, the surface modle can be well described. To divided different region in the image,wen can creat a character vector in 4-dimension space modle with direction and colligate fractal-dimensions to extract information. . Through the analyse of the experiment, we find this method can solve the problem of classify which only depend spectrum information. It is a profitable attempt to future development of high resolution image information extractionBase on the use of high resolution image by the means of Wavelet Transform and fractal theory,the correspondence program has been authorized and can be better implied in experiment...
