| The technology of virtual drive which based on Mac OS X is unusual. The idea that transplanting the mature technology of virtual driver on Windows and Linux to Mac OS X of the Apple will be a good and novel one. A real CD driver will be represented by a emulate device in disk, and those operation on real CD driver will be directed to the emulate device. Since the operation are between memeory and disk, the speed of transaction is raised up. Moreover, the wearing of real CD driver will be reduced. The technology will fill up the vacancy of the aspect of virtual driver on Mac OS X. The driver of the emulate device will be developed based on I/O Kit and Project Builder, and an object-oriented C++ which is restricted. |
