With internationalization of iron and steel industry's in China, internal enterprises should improve themselves to expand and enlarge themselves in such a dog-eat-dog society. Stresses of enterprise management are different due to different business means. Guarantee of production and increase of profit in Iron and steel enterprise, to a large extent, depends upon good operation of the equipments and reduction of the maintenance costs. To monitor equipment running condition and manage equipments in enterprise could decrease fault rate, shorten times of reacting maintenance and maintaining, increase life-span of equipments, standardize working flow, enhance rationality of spares in warehouse, realize scientific inventory, increase competition ability, and improve management.In this paper, it makes an analysis to the disadvantages of old equipment condition monitoring system, A new equipment condition monitoring solution, by which is able to be used for remote user to access process data, is brought out, as well as for integration of the information system to be more convenient. And an equipment condition monitoring software is developed for user to monitor equipment condition.Unstandardized working flow, unreasonable inspection and repair plan, incomplete equipment information, minor information utilization in equipment management are discussed in this paper, enterprise equipment running management system is developed, scientific, reasonable equipment management is well fulfilled.A new data integration solution based-on OPC ,which is used to integrate information in iron and steel industry by web service ,is brought about in the paper. OPC-XML that is key technique of data integration, is discussed in detail in this article, a application is developed and is used in integration of equipment condition monitoring and management system. Those users who don't can browse process data in the past can do now.The character of kinds of processing data compression arithmetic is analyzed in the thesis, piecewise linear interpolation arithmetic is used to compress process data, which reduce storage space of data.Equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis have a tendency to information inosculation and preventive maintenance and fault prediction. And it is prospected in the paper.
