By using Microsoft Visual Basic and connecting it to Microsoft Access through Microsoft Jet Engine which provides full support for Structured Query Language, a set of management systems has been established which includes equipment filing management, status management, repairing plan management and table management and so on. In accordance with all kinds of equipment reporting table and information list etc., Corresponding filing data form has been designed, and at the same time the paper takes consideration into easy and clear usage and designs input windows, output windows and tables etc. Furthermore, the security of the data and its operating system has been discussed.The development and application of the equipment management system have increased the management efficiency which can administrate the equipment systematically and scientifically. This system provides the basic of management and decision-making for the enterprise.
