With the development of the technology of compensating the harmonics and var in the power system, the reactive power compensation device with bidirectional compensate timely is in great need in research on advanced reactive power compensation. And the device itself does not pollute power system with harmonic.Some characteristic of SVG using simulating and experimenting is investigated. SPWM technique is applied on SVG firstly. The effect of the parameters (inductance, capacitor, carrier wave ratio, modulation index) on harmonic ratio of A.C current is obtained through simulation and test device. The stability and dynamic characteristics are analyzed . Finally, the current direct control system of SVG is discussed simply. |
