The stability of frequency is the key specification of many modern electronic systems and instruments. With the frequency spectral instruments becoming more and more perfect, the technology of phase noise measurement in frequency domain plays an important role in the measurement of short-term frequency stability. In our nation ,we have worked on the researching of continue radar signal's phase noise mesurement equipment in the past. But the equipment for pulse radar signal is still in blank. The object of this dissertation is to study on the denotation of the radar pulse signal's phase noise and its measuring method. And especially introduces the theory and realization of a measurement system which uses the method of spectral estimation. Much effort was devoted in the tow rubs of the realization of the measurement system in this way: the realization of high-speed signal collection system and high-distinguishability data signal procession with software. As to the first question ,we resolve it by the way of use a high-speed and high-precision analog-data converter ti finish the signal collection ,and the PCI local bus as the PC bus. As to the second question, the way to resolve it is to use an efficiency FFT program package ---FFTW, which can compute the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) of arbitrary input size.. |
