Nowadays, that how entering WTO affects china media industry is a research field focused by many nature scholars. This article wants to touch its core: how to face up to the cultural and economic challenges that transnational media industry brings. The study applies a deductive and normative way and probes how to develop and strengthen our media industry from the angle of constructing modern culture peculiar to China.The logical structure of this study is as follows: firstly, raising purports of this dissertation. As a supplier of spiritual and cultural products, media industry should contribute to the construction of modern culture peculiar to china. Secondly, in part I this dissertation expounds the characteristic and circulation of global mass media. Then in part II, After analyzing the questions lying in our media industry, the dissertation puts forward the importance of developing our media industry from the angle of culture development. At last, in the third part, we find that the source of these questions lies not in the market economy, but in which our government looks on media as a means of publicity. So we conclude that the system of media management must be reformed.We can see that these probations show the wisdom coming from the theoretical induction or deduction reasoning and practice. The purpose is to indicate that our system of media management must be reformed and industrialized. Only by this way, can we develop and strengthen our media industry and make it contribute to our modern culture, to world culture.
