This paper describes a genaral introduction on Digital - Analog Converter study of domestic and aboard, analysis of D/A converter principle and structures, and the analyses of different converting type such as current converting and voltage converting.A monolithic current-output converter is presented. Based on the study of R-2R resistor network, a new precision resistor network is also presented. And the high-speed current switch, reference ampler, bias circuit are described in terms of their design principles and circuit structures.This architecture implements the 8bit D/A converter and the settle time achieves 110ns. So it can accept 8bit digital input voltages and converter them into analog singles at update rates as high as almost 10 MHz. The complementary high impedance iutputs are suitable for driving transmission lines directly or connecting a omp to bring low impedance outputs.Some of the basic design theory and technology are presented within this paper. Analyze the emphases of resistor network and current switch by inducing from theoretics and then present the basic cell architectures and the details of circuit.
