Peer-to-Peer is a type of network technology that will develop greatly in the futrue. It broad applies in the field of equal compution computation, coordinated work, searched engine and file exchanged.Gnutella is the peer-to-peer network commnunication protocol and the network which bases on the Gnutella communication protocol is the Gnutella network. Recently the development of the Gnutella network is very fast. But the Gnutella network has also some drawbacks. For example, the scale is samll, the rogatory speed is slow and the query efficiency is not high. These drawbacks limit the farther development of peer-to-peer network. The paper establishes a new type of P2P newwork model based on Gnutella protocol. In the traditional P2P network model, all the peers in network is equivalent. For this reason,we divide the whole network into a different small ones and use different method to deal with peers .Inside the small network,we use IP muticast technology to find a peer automatically. Outside the small network,we find peers by both automatical finding mechanism and manually entering a hostlist method .And in the query mechanism,we also use the different methods .Finally ,we make out a software based on the new P2P newwork model.Short-Circuiting Effect is a important factor that make the P2P network inefficient .This paper eliminate this effect by redefine the flooding query's control mechanism.
