Three-dimensional Cad-based Design Calculations Secondary Development

Professional software, as a result of 3D CAD application re-development based on structural design and stress analysis, is a useful tool to improve design efficiency, shorten design time and build the enterprise more ability of competition.The article describes the 3D CAD re-development technology based on computation for design with software platform of SolidWorks. The API interface of SolidWorks and the design of some important parts are studied thoroughly. Firstly, the part models and assembly models are built, secondly design computational program are set to get the design parameters, thirdly bring the design parameters to update the models, with rapid parametric design is done." Storage CAD" system designed in the way described above is a computer aided design tool for the storage machine. The system is compiled as a standard add-in of SolidWorks and can be used and managed conveniently.The development progress and the re-development of 3D CAD is described in the first paragraph.The re-development of SolidWorks is thoroughly studied in the second paragraph. Most important issues like the creation of SldWorks object, document management, add-in load, menu and toolbar load are described.The design computation of important mechanical parts such as axis and wheel is studied in the third paragraph.The storage CAD system designed by us is introduced in the fourth paragraph. The system is built on 3D CAD re-development technology based on computation and for the storage machine.
