Based On Com / Dcom Multi-database System

This paper uses component program designing idea and provides a feasible scheme for integrating existing Database systems which coexist into a multidatabase.This paper introduces the development of Database system and multidatabase system compendiously.The brief researching content is component object model distributed component object model and how to use them in multidatabse system.This paper puts forward the three stratums structured scheme of multidatabase based on component object model and distributed component object model, analyzes its safety mechanism and gives a method of ADO visiting.The results of experiments indicates that it is necessary and feasible to introduce component program designing idea into multidatabase system. Comparing withtraditional multidatabse system the one based on COM/DCOM has advantages: adjusting flexibility arraying trustiness and safety.
