WWW and CORBA are the two hot spots which interest people to develop and research. CORBA provides an environment for building clients and servers, which are transparent to programmers while WWW presents people with friendly and convenient user interface. With the integration of them, it can provide a new application platform with more portability and flexibility than the traditional Client/Server and Browser/Server modes.This thesis put the emphasis on the integration technology and presents a solution--SSP, which means CorbaScript Server Page. If programmers want to invoke the CORBA objects, they only need to write Corbascript in the web page between the marks and . The CorbaScript is a server-side script which is interpreted by the CSSP script engine which is implemented with the technology ISAPI and loaded by the IIS 5 . There is no additional requirment to the client and any WWW browser is all right. In this thesis we provide our design about the CSSP Script Engine and the CorbaScript interpreter. By the constrast with other integration methods, CSSP will be a more powerful platform for developing web-based CORBA application.
