Peer to Peer Network directs the network computing from centralized model to distributed model, in other words, the kernel of network application is distributed to the terminal equipment from the central server: from the server to server> from serverto PC, from PC to PC, from PC to WAP mobile phone......all the nodes can set upPeer to Peer communication. This makes the behavior of sharing be developed to a higher level, makes people join in the network more actively. As the Doug. Van Houweling says: the next generation people in network will join in the network in deed, all people will contribute their power for the network resource and functions.P2P brings the unlimited nice dreams to the sharing and distribution of the network, there is a viewpoint saying that at least one hundred kinds of applications will be implemented. But now, P2P's power mainly is its sharing and searching power in large-scale. In this way, it is conducting, in other words, solving four kinds of applications in network more effectively: P2P Computation, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, Searching Engine, File sharing. So, now P2P technology is developing rapidly . In order to make use of P2P network more effectively, the author of this paper designs a P2P network development system upon the TCP/IP.This paper discusses the design and implementation of P2P network development system. It consists of six chapters. Chapter one introduces the appearance and development of P2P technology, P2P applications and the status and development of P2P in the world. Chapter two shows the structure of P2P network system, including the notion model, network architecture and service functions. Chapter three discusses the design and implementation of P2P network level, including the objective of design, the design of protocol, routing algorithm, routing optimizing algorithm and internal communication mechanism. Chapter four shows the design and implementation of P2P nodes management, including network management, account management, authentication and encryption mechanism. Chapter five discusses how nodes in P2P network can go through the gateway, including the design and implement of the HTTP proxy. Chapter six, namely the last chapter, summarizes the whole pager and prospects the future study. The author was responsible for design and development of the P2P network development system, mainly including the design of network architecture level, logic function level, and the interface level. This pager is mostly on the basis of designing idea and implementation techniques comes from a long-term practice. And using it,the author have implemented a network meetng system based on text.
