The instrumentation industry is undergoing a variety of exciting changes as a result of the widespread acceptance and proliferation of PCs, The pc revolution has equipped users with powerful processing and display capabilities of their own. The computer can enhance instrument functionality in any of the three element areas-data acquisition, analysis, and presentation. Millions of scientists and engineers around the world use PCs to automate their research, design, and manufacturing tasks. Easy to use but powerful software and application development environment allow you to develop more capable applications faster. With the advent of the PC, a new term has become popular in the instrumentation community. The term "Virtual instrument" describes the combination of programmable instruments with general-purpose PCs. System intergration based on virtual instrument are dicussd in this paper with implement of the system-multichannel data throughput of high speed and real-time wave regenerating. Firstly, the base concept of virtual instrument is introduced, and virtual instrument have been compared with traditional instrument. VXIbus and PXIbus are discussed in details. Secondly, hardware configuration are presented, lay stress on data acquisition module HP E1433A and data storage module HP E1562E. Thirdly, in the base of architecture of software system, implement of every function module are discussed. This paper demonstrates how to throughput data from E1433 to an E1562 using the local bus. It also demonstrates how to set up an E1562 Session using splitting and How to output signal data using double buffering software technique. All functions of this system satisfied requirements and passed the test.
