Network Security Tools For Analysis And Design

With the development of Internet and Intranet's application, more and more attentions are being highly focused on the networking security. According to the practical application background in China, this thesis takes the research in the networking security, and attempts to propose a solution that can solve some encountered tough problems.After carefully analyzed many different network security tools such as:v ulnerabilitv scanners , port scanners, network monitors,network ?ntrusion detection systems etc, we proposed a design of vulnerability scanners and implemented some part of plugins of system weaks .[n addition to above, we improved a typical example of NIDS.In this thesis, firstly. several major types of network security tools has been introduced .Then. we illustrated the design and implementation of vulnerability scanner in detail . At last, a well-known light-weightednetwork intrusion detection tool and its improvement that we did are described.
