Three-dimensional visualization technology can intuitively perform geographical things, which is easier for people to understand the complex geospatial things. Among the three-dimensional GIS solutions, terrain textures directly affect the three-dimensional GIS visualization effect. Therefore, texture plays an important role in the three-dimensional GIS solutions.In the solutions about surface three-dimensional GIS, multiscale satellite image texture is usually been used. Due to many uncontrollable factors, such as, time difference, spatial differences, differences in satellite sensors, wavelength range, as well as differences in color image synthesis meteorological factors,it always leads to a huge color difference between different satellite image textures. Therefore, we must scale satellite images of different textures by color matching, so that the color can disappear and three-dimensional visualization of GIS will be better. In this paper, by contrast Adobe Photoshop’s color matching method with ENVI’s color matching method(histogram matching), then choose more flexible and more operable color matching method of Adobe Photoshop ZhouQu, whose aim is match the color between remote sensing image texture and Zhouqu Town City texture with a result of less color difference, the contrast between the image and the image smaller, less image marginal noise. Then describing the color matching methods and processing methods detailed architectural texture. Finally, the variety of texture data and three-dimensional geographic data integration after color matching to do comparison, reaching the following conclusions:①By color matching processing allows different tone images, brightness, saturation remain similar, so that the image tone difference disappears, the marginal noise of the image reduces. The transparency gradient of remote sensing image texture can remove marginal noise further.②Building debris texture color matching enables the texture mosaic pieces better. Texture of the buildings enables color matching between architecture similar hue and brightness, and better overall visual effect of buildings.③Not only Adobe Photoshop with matching color tools can make color matching, but also Histogram matching using ENVI tools can perform color matching. However, Adobe Photoshop’s color-matching method is more flexible, it can dynamically adjust the brightness, color saturation and color balance based on visual effects. It is easy to choose the best color matching visual effects. ENVI histogram matching method is not flexible, it is difficult to get the best visual effects.④ Satellite image texture and architectural texture with color matching process have a better visual effect in the three-dimensional GIS visualization system.Non- color matching process satellite images textures and building textures in three-dimensional GIS visualization is not so perfect.
