Research On Traditional Festival Discourse Of "News Network"

The research aims to relevant report of traditional festival in News Broadcast from 201 1 to 2014. This research wants to explore the specific strategy of construction of ideology i n television context in critical discourse analysis (CDA). There’re following deficiencies abou t previous research:First, a large part of the past research mainly from the perspective of e xperiential level to explore the traditional festival reports related experience, therefore, it mak es research appears formalism color dense. Second, previous research on TV lack of detailed investigation where behind the text in the process of transmission mechanism of the embod iment of the meaning, and analysis of the hidden ideology process is also very shallow, so t he conclusions is very limited, more cannot effectively explain the connotation of the traditi onal festivals in under the influence of the media, what changes have taken place. In additio n, in terms of critical discourse analysis, although the research trend has gradually transform ed from the theory of interpretation of the theory itself to the application, but in journalism and communication discipline, the main analysis object represented by the print media, and for the analysis of the TV media research is still few. Therefore, this research is trying to prove that, as a kind of powerful explanatory theory, the application range of the critical dis course analysis not only wide and has a strong persuasive.This research is going to interpret news discourse in angles of macroscopic and microsc opic. The study found that in terms of macroscopic, "broadcast" about traditional festival of TV news discourse has certain macro proposition, this proposition as the overall significance of TV news discourse, namely the main content of the news reports, this structure may be expressed in the form of a tree. Under the general meaning, it stretch out more secondary propositions and include the transmission of the modern life and national spirit of two parts. And according to the analysis of intertextuality of TV news discourse, the research found t hat the discourse’s meaning is influenced by political discourse, the mainstream discourse, fol k discourse and ministrant discourse. The involvement of the political discourse show us that the national leaders attend the meeting and activities of inspecting grass-roots to reflect that the central care about people’s life, it means that the traditional festivals are not only as a folk activity but also is a national event. At the same time, in the discourse system of "bro adcast", construct the mainstream image, by showing Chinese spirit about hard-working, lovi ng, dependable, these also is the indispensable part in the discourse system. Folk discourse i s to show a picture of the Chinese long history and culture, the country and family for the holidays, peace and safety; ministrant discourse show the "broadcast", with some special so cial service function, pay attention to react the feast of ticket information, traffic and weathe r conditions during the holiday, at the same time, by these reports, it also proves our nation’ s prosperity and stability from another angle.At the micro level, the research concentrates on text structure, commentary, the camera language. In text structure, the research found that the "broadcast" usually tends to adopt par ticular structure of TV news for a particular theme, in order to maximize the effect of mean ing expression. In the commentary, new specific meaning, which affects the tendency of rep ort can be produced by increasing the program’s duration, expanding the boundary of discour se meanings and selecting the process of language acts. In respect of the lens language, the angle of the different lenses can often bring different perspectives of expression, "broadcast " capture in the form of middle, close shot, close-up character details, to reflect the final th eme. The panoramic vision is used for expressing the specific environment of the events, an d also can make a panoramic scanning for events, to bring the situation of country holidays into the audience’s horizons. In addition, because of the method of immobilization, it also e xplains the "broadcast" robust and patterned discourse style, but also shows its authority, obj ectivity, information transmission, to meet its own as a field of China’s TV news authority a nd the role of the barometer.Finally, in the interpretation section, this research advocate that "broadcast" of traditional festival TV news discourse is essentially a ritual communication. And there are very complicated reasons in the cause of the discourse to the ritual. It is decide d by the traditional festivals in the reality of people’s life, the policy of culture in China an d the role of "news broadcast" medium.
