According to the text analysis of15travel blogs best-sellers, which have been published between2008and2012,this article found such text has homogenization tendency in content. The specific content of homogeneous can be divided into17categories. By briefly integration of those categories, we can have4frame narratives:1. Asking the individual existence significance through the journey;2.Paying attention for pluralistic development of the interpersonal relations;3.The flight from the modern city and the passion for the countryside;4. Attaching great importance to the direct sensory experience. As for me, those4frameworks and contents shares words of opposition and criticism of modernity. And specifically, the one to be opposed firstly is the overturning of the traditional families and religions from the Enlightenment, the natural things been purely objective and lose its spiritual, due to the excessive attaches great importance to the scientific and rational. It makes people feels lost during the ultimate issues. The second things to be opposed is the bureaucratic capitalism’s limitation on modern life and the space-time of job. Thirdly, it has criticisms of the bureaucratic capitalism urbanization has created too many utility as a link of human relations. At last, it criticism of the modern life making people senses blunt. The author think that the behavior of travelling can lowing down the negative influence of modernity to the modern people more or less. It can make people far from the limitation of modern city and value temporally, understanding the world and themselves by the attitude of firsthand experience. It’s worth noting that travel notes are also the product of modernity. It conveyed more modernity self-reflexivity than words of anti-modernity.
