Consumerism is the product of the western capitalist era, with the improvement of social openness in our country. Due to the relations between western society and our country is more and more closely, consumerism is spread in our country. Today, China’s media is increasingly show up the cultural characteristics of consumerism, mediation class emotional talk show is regarded as an important type of TV talk show in China, and it’s purpose is to negotiate emotional problems by the effort of love tutor or psychological expert which are invited by the column group, in this way to help the parties get out of emotional confusion, and return to a healthy marriage emotional life. However, nowadays, many mediation emotional talk show in our country have Deviated from the original intention of the show, and they are turning to the public privacy topic. In order to satisfy the audience’s "voyeuristic interest", and the public feelings of privacy are turning into a "commodity" for the audience,this is a great performance which means that consumerism is deeply rooted in our country, the consumption the privacy of the public is not only infringe of the right of privacy of citizens,but also improve the spread of consumerism in our country, we can never be too serious with it.This article has done a comprehensive study of the culture background of consumerism in our country, and it has deeply discussed the performance and characteristics of consumerism in cultural mediation emotional talk show under the background of this cultural,and it analyzed the reasons why privacy issues arise from this program type consumption phenomenon, it focused on the analysis of the performance and the damage of consumerism in mediation class emotional talk show under the current background.And it based on the position of the audience, TV programs and cultural perspective.And I hope the deep thinking of the phenomenon may do help to the the current mediation class emotional talk show and we should beware the harm done by the excessive consumption of privacy.
