Due to the mature technology of Rendezvous and Docking microwave radar, microwave radar measurements will continue to be a reliable sensor in the future development of space rendezvous measurement technology, so rendezvous radar performance will directly affect the success or failure docking. Rendezvous microwave radar signal simulator is a special ground testing equipment designed to build the closed-loop simulation of rendezvous microwave radar in the laboratory, to achieve overall performance testing and dynamic verification of microwave radar.This design begins with an analysis of the measurement principle rendezvous and docking in space radar systems at work, carefully studied the principles of incoherent spread spectrum ranging, bidirectional doppler velocimetry and interferometer goniometer. According to actual needs dynamic rendezvous radar signal simulation program, The simulation reform package done computer simulations, select the small simulation error to design fair microwave radar signal simulator, it can simulate real-time simulation of ranging signal and five-way goniometer signal continuous wave signal. In order to ensure a dynamic real-time simulation of signal Simulator work, design the corresponding channel, the loop channels verifies the correct of these above simulation parameters. Loop channels including goniometer channel used to detect the accuracy of angle simulation; the ranging from ring channel used to demarcate the zero value for calibration and measurement range accuracy.According to the dynamic signal simulation scheme in this paper, and detailedly describes the radar signal simulator core part of the FPGA logic design module and some modules for simulation. Finally gives the complete signal board hardware design. After debugging is completed, based on microwave radar signal simulator test result analysis of closed-loop in a variety of scenarios, verification of dynamic radar signal simulator for simulator output signal accuracy.
