With the deepening of China’s medical reform, the traditional paper-based medical record is difficult to meet the needs of today’s information society, health information technology has attracted more and more attention. So medical record system’s digital is particularly important, and currently the electronic medical record system’s level is still relatively low. This topic comes from an actual project of medical information technology company, through in-depth analysis on "the hospital information system construction program based on the needs of electronic medical records report " released by the Ministry of Health, and the actual demand of contracted hospital’s electronic medical records system, the "framework and data standards for electronic medical records" as a standard, development of EMR editor with structured features. According to the current three major hospitals in the country nearly one year of usage, this EMR editor safe and reliable operation, realized patients share medical information, diagnosis, standard hospital procedures, as well as medical research, teaching and medical instruments provided standardized information.
