With the advances in information technology and electronic technology has become more sophisticated, computer data acquisition technology has been widely applied. PCI interface will gradually replace the ISA data acquisition card due to its inherent defects, that makes PCI interface card become the mainstream of data acquisition.CPCI bus is a high-speed, high-reliability, high open a new generation of computer bus. The introduction of the CPCI local bus, to break the bottleneck of the data transmission, with excellent performance to become the mainstream of the microprocessor bus, and has been widely applied in various fields of engineering, a bus standard is very competitive. Using CPCI(Compact Peripherial Component Interface) bus cards are widely used in military, industrial control, telecommunications, etc.But the digital logic design to match the the CPCI bus protocol is very complex and difficult to do. The method to achieve the CPCI interface effectively mainly in two ways:using the programmable logic device CPLD or FPGA and using a dedicated interface chip. This paper introduces a dedicated interface chip PCI9052plus FPGA chip programmable data acquisition and processing circuit design, and the successful completion of the PCB production. VHDL Design improvements to complete the programming of the FPGA chip, the final completion of the driver and test program verification. In this paper, the design focus on the two parts:the hardware circuit and FPGA development. Among them, the hardware circuit design including the CPCI bus, FPGA chip control logic, the data conversion and power control; software development and design including FPGA timing control, hardware-driven code and test software application.
