To meet the trend of robot universal education and promoting their development, this research dedicated to finding a new way to design a series of pilot projects as a secondary school teaching and reference materials in robotics. Therefore, this research work carried out in the following aspects:(1)Literature research, analyzes current situation of the robot and the problems of education, and to find a way conducive to promoting universal robotic education, using open-source platform to carry out educational robot, its low cost and highly open nature makes this approach possible.(2)To know about the current situation and development of platform for domestic educational robot, and compare with the open-source platform to determine the advantages of open source platform.(3)Using text analysis method, combing robot curriculum files, determine the objectives and content of junior robot system; further analysis of robots materials, to understand the organization of the content of robotics knowledge and organization of clues, and analyze their advantages and disadvantages.(4)Teaching junior high school robot needs analysis and positioning, and to determine the design of the robot pilot projects, and specifically design pilot projects relying on Arduino open source platform.The final results of this study include the following aspects:(1)Proposed to use Arduino open source platform, analyze its characteristics and advantages, and ultimately determine the feasibility and rationality using Arduino platform.(2)Robot modules based on curriculum standards, combing the objectives and content system of knowledge teaching junior robot; the existing textbooks are part of junior high school robotics research, describe the contents of its composition and organization of knowledge, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of some of the existing textbooks.(3)Organize the knowledge of a junior high school robotics, presented to the sensor clue by way of pilot projects organized knowledge of the robot; completion of specific projects and experiments designed robot presented.
