Research on queuing behaviors for traffic input is closely related to the reserveation of buffer size, quality of service (QoS) assurance and analysis, and the design of network-related parameters and algorithms. The self-similar nature of network traffic as a ubiquitous phenolmenon and the diversity gains in a cooperative relay wirelesss networks have recently received great interests and been extensively studied. The thesis establishes the relationship model of traffic nature, wirelesss transmission strategies and resource cooperation from the aspact of queuing theory; Then based on these theoretical framework, we analyze the queuing behaveiors of self-similar traffic in cooperative relay network and the effects of traffic models and transmission strategies on network performaces by simulation; Finally, jointly considering channel condition and queuing state, we propose a relay selection and cross-layer network design with dynamoic resource allocation algorithm to improve the communicateon reliability and resource utilization. The major work and contributions of the dissertation consist in:1. Research on universal traffic model in the wireless cooperative communication systemsThe dissertation has done a lot of research on long-range dependence (LRD) and self-similarity, and meanwhile, to study traffic behavioral characteristics, mine deeply the traffic behavior based on data traffic collected in a domestic wireless cellular network and propose a continuous time Semi-Markov model (CTSMM).2. Effective Bandwidth (EB) model-based Analysis of queuing performance in multi-traffic cooperative networkCombining EB model based on LDPS and different transmission strategies including amply-and-forward (AF) protocol and decode-and-forward (DF) protocol, the dissertation establishes queuing model with FBM traffic model input and analyze theoretically the probability density distribution (PDF) of the queue length in wireless cooperative relay network.3. Research on relational model of multi-service feature and wireless transmission strategies and resource cooperation Focused on the queuing behaviors of self-similar traffic with variable service rate in cooperative relay wirelesss network, the paper combines two analysis methods of MVA (Maximum Variance Asymptotic) and LDPS (Large Deviation Principles) to obtain the approximate tail distribution expression of the queue length; then queuing performances are compared under the different cooperative transmitsion schemes. Finally, from a traffic model point of view, the paper analyze and compare fully effects on network performance with Poisson and FBM traffic inputs, nd even point out the impacts of the key performance parameters.4. Relay selection mechanism with traffic-centric and multi-users jointly scheduling and QoS evaluationThe dissertation proposes a new relay selection scheme, jointly taking into consideration channel condition and traffic status of relay nodes to reducee the outage probability of the source node and the impacts on the traffic transmission of the relay node. Firstly, traffic model with bursty and self-similarity is introduced, and then considering different QoS requirements and multi-objective optimization, the partner is selected as cooperative relay to provide the high reliability of communication.5. Traffic behavior-oriented cross-layer analysis and dynamic resource allocation in cooperative relay wirelesss networksIn this paper, from a macro behavior point of view, SMM(Semi-Markov Model) is introduced to reflect and describe behavior characteristics of users'traffic in wireless network. A cross-layer theoretical analysis model is bulit among physical layer, link layer and application layer from the view point of obtaining corresponding relation between network performance parameters and traffic behavior parameters in order to analyze queuing performance in wirelesss networks. Furthermore, a dynamic resource allocation algorithm is proposed to guarantees prescribed QoS, which improves the communication reliability and resource utilization.
