LED (Light Emitted Diode, be called as LED) is the fourth generation light source after second incandescent, fluorescent, gas discharge lamps, because of its traditional sources can not match advantage, including energy saving, environmental protection and no pollution, governments have will be to promote it as a key industry. LED lighting is currently on the road, display, home lighting, automotive lighting and lighting in the area has entered a stage of rapid development, but because business competition and technological security, LED lighting in optical design, driver design, thermal analysis and system integration and other fields not mature, there are many issues to be developed and technical difficulties. Based on the theory of non-sequential optical design, using software TracePro and DIALux in LED road lighting and vehicle lighting design aspects of a large number of secondary optical exploratory research. The main work:Introducing the LED light source and lighting characteristics of optical theory, based on the degree of conservation based on light expanded, free-form surface partitioning theory of thought and reference to national standards for road lighting and the actual light distribution requirements, using simulation software Tracepro carried out on single LED Lights with light design and lighting calculation software DIALux results were analyzed. The results show that the design of the polarized lens of the indicators are qualified and meet the requirements of road lighting uniform rectangular beam. Because the single lens satisfy the rectangular beam under the premise of the lens array constituted by either street or from the uniformity of illumination brightness uniformity to the study are to meet the standard, even if one or more of the actual LED flashes or exterminate Lighting does not have a big impact.Secondary optical design LED lights on the car including rear fog lamps, reversing lights and headlamps were a. In the analysis of headlamps, rear fog lamp, reversing lamp based on national standards, the use of multi-plane surface partitioning based on ideas and theories of traditional halogen headlamps were designed, compared to the LED optical design and optical design of traditional light sources different location. Theoretical design properties using parabolic fog lights and reversing lights after the cup, composed of optical glass face of the control line is not a free surface, but the conic sections, such features will undoubtedly bring convenience to the processing and accuracy will be greatly improved The results show that the method is feasible. Finally, LED headlamps were exploratory attempts, mainly based on the projection-type headlamp thought (for a good solution to glare issues), the use of baffle technology enables low light efficiency, so research in this area is One of the future direction of this thesis. Finally was a summary of this article and on the basis of the work in the future, and proposed future work directions.
