Design And Implementation Of Hospital Management Information System Based On Fingerprint Identification

As the health care system reform in depth and the implementation of Medicare changes, the hospitals scales increasing larger and larger. The difficulties of management sharply increased because more and more patients. Therefore, Hospital Information Management System will be the essential part of hospital infrastructure. In order to provide modern services and raise the service level for patients, hospitals should keep up with the pace of development of times and tide, meet the health care system reform and the need for social health insurance reform, as well as they must implement a comprehensive information management and establish a good social image. Moreover patients will enhance their trust and support to hospitals. Nowadays, if hospital wants to be the winner, they must use advanced management methods and means when facing more and fiercer market competition. A comprehensive planning and advanced design Information Network Management is a necessary means.With the rapid development of the Hospital Information System in the hospitals, distinguish the patients'identification correctly from the Hospital Information System has become a researching hotspot. In this paper, we designed a fingerprint based recognition subsystem for the Hospital Information System. Firstly the basic concept, principles and the current situation of fingerprint recognition technologies are discussed in the paper. Secondly the disadvantages of the current Hospital Information System and the identification function are investigated. Thirdly the total designation schemes are proposed, accompyed by the designation principle and cultivation methods. Fourthly, the software and hardware environment for the fingerprinting recognition system, and the realization of the system are presented in detail. At last, the prospect of the application of the designed system in the whole medical treatment industry is shown.
