With the constant expansion of the universities' scale, and the increase of the number of students, the demands for the quantity and real-time of university information management are becoming much higher, existing purely artificial management already can not meet the management demands of modern school, a kind of automatically collecting information way is needed to replace the existing artificial management. RFID (radio frequency identification technology), a multi-disciplinary technology utilization automatic acquisition of information technology, provides a scientific approach for university information management.On the basis of analysis about the demand of university information management and access to relevant books, this paper studied the background of RFID technology and the economic and technical feasibility of RFID technology'university-wide implementation, in economic terms, since the development of RFID technology has been mature, chip mass production is relatively inexpensive. In terms of technology, RFID technology is well established, from the radio, receiver, to the data integrity, security, and so on have a variety of sophisticated technology as support. In addition, RFID technology can be applied to the campus in the efficient, automatic, non-interference information collection, to realise the management of background data.Based on both economic and technical feasibility,the foreground development mode uses object-oriented software design methods, use Delphi2008 to design five modules such as student information management, electronic tag management, attendance management, student access management, systems management and so on, Front development model using object-oriented software design methods, In the database design, taking the cost performance of software into account, to achieve background database design using SQL2005, and build UDMS database.ln monitoring,taking the hardware providers'SDK into account,using embedded DS-8000HC DVR as the monitor server. According to equipment selection, the appropriate communication software, data interfaces and standard software configuration are set up to automatically collecte student information about their access to specific locations,and automatically stored in the database so as to conduct inquiries and other manipulation for the managers. As to the hardware design, this paper introduces MCRF355/360 tag properties, memory structure and antenna selection, and select MF RC 500 reader on MCRF355/360 full control, the design of the College Information Management RFID data acquisition device is designed in this paper,it uses AT89S52 microcontroller chip as the reader master the control over the reader work, finishi the level conversion through the MAX232 chip, connect and communicate with the host computer through the RS232 serial port, meanwhile, carry out hardware initialization on AT89S52 and the MF RC 500 reader, Through the communication process about the system, describes the process of data transmission, a request from the response to design solutions to the anti-collision of consultation card process may produce, from the data exchange process authentication, read and write operation to the transmission of data may occur in the integrity and security solutions, etc..This paper integrates the supervisory computer and subordinate computer, designs a set of RFID-based university information managenemt system so that the difficulties of university information acquisition automation and information processing real-time are solved.
