From the point of social psychology, with the methods of documentary, questionnaire survey and mathematical analysis, this paper researched into 638 college students on 10 universities in Xi'an and studied the impact of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on their sports attitude and behavior. The results showed that the impact of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on students' sports attitude and behavior is positive and limited. From the attribution analysis on the change of sports behavior, the study indicated that the domestic demand of college students promotes growth of sports behavior. And the support of students for the Olympic Games enthusiastically, but lack of action.At first, by the impact surveying of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on college students' sports cognition, the paper found that college students' sports cognition had a certain impact, but the influence is limited. The understanding that the status of Chinese traditional sports in the Olympic Games needs to be further enhanced. There is significant difference in the Olympic knowledge and the awareness of traditional sports between male and female, there is no significant difference in the expectation of traditional sports and the impact of sports cognition between them. Secondly, the college students' sports cognition has produced a certain effect by Beijing Olympic Games, but the effects have yet to be further improved. By the survey, we found that the emotion of physical sports, sports information, and sports consume are having an impact on college students by Beijing Olympic Games, but this influence is still very limited. These college students' emotion tends to be more willing to plunge into sports, but their action behind their attitude. This shows that there is still a distance from the college students' sports emotion into sports behavior.With the impact survey of college students' sports motive, the study indicated that the impact on internal and external motivation of college students to participate in sports is comprehensive by the Beijing Olympic Games. They are more willing to take part in physical exercise, enrich their lives and ease their pressure and rich their social interaction. However, they do not really agree that the sports competition has an important role in promoting to the growth of the individual interests. This also shows that the majority of college students believe that major sports events with their own or not. Moreover, they were influenced in sports emotion more than in sports behavior by the Beijing Olympic Games. At the same time, there is significant difference in the score of the sports consuming emotion and the influent efficacy of sports behavior between male and female, there is no significant difference in the emotion of physical sports, sports informational emotion, internal and external sports motivation and the influent efficacy of sports consume between them. It showed that their sports emotion, motivation and behavior are separated.With the survey, we found that college students' sports behavior was changed by the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and the change based on the improvement of sports facilities and exercise surrounding. There is significant difference in the impact of male sports behavior between the female.These college students' sports attitude and behavior in Xi'an have much enthusiasm for taking part in physical sports, and they is positively impacted by the successful hosting and propagating of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. With major sports events to promoting the change of the college students' sports attitude and behavior, the impact could be further expanded to strengthen their participation behavior, so as that we should build the atmosphere of propagating Olympic culture, deepen Olympic Education in college and promote the further development of college sports in China.
