Considered to be a tower of strength in the process of modernization, undergraduates and supervisors are two special groups concerned about by society. Recently, society and researchers are paying much attention to issues like the extent of subject well-being they currently get and methods for advancing their subject well-being. At the same time, with more and more women joining these two special groups, studies focused on their subject well-being are relatively limited. This research is based on such standpoint and hopes to be possibly deepened.First, the development of theories on subject well-being and its measurement theory as well as the current situation of study subject well-being measure theory will be reorganized systematically, which lays the foundation for the worth of a further study on female undergraduates and female supervisors'subject well-being.Hopefully the study not only help them have a profound understanding of their subject well-being, but also provide some favorable advice on upgrading it. Second, based on the information gathered from correlative literature, semi-structure interviews, and discussions with experts, teachers in EWP and some postgraduates, a self-made"A Questionnaire Measure Of Female Supervisors'Subject Well-being"and"A Questionnaire Measure Of Female Undergraduates'Subject Well-being"(revised edition of"A Questionnaire Measure Of Female Supervisors'Subject Well-being") came into being. Representative female supervisors and representative female students in colleges and universities took a pretest. The results were dealt with through factor analytic approach. By means of principle factor analysis, items on physical and mental health, development, family supports, sociality and material were identified. After reliability and validity test analysis, the reliability and validity of these two self-made surveys are both qualified.Finally, by employing the self-made"A Questionnaire Measure Of Female Supervisors'Subject Well-being","A Questionnaire Measure Of Female Undergraduates'Subject Well-being"(revised edition of"Questionnaire Of Female Supervisors'Subject Well-being"), IDIAT(A Questionnaire Measure of Individual Difference In Achieving Tendency)and"A Questionnaire Measure of Big Five Personality", immense tests were carried out in EWP, MBA class and Shanghai colleges and universities.After statistics analysis, seven phenomena the result reveals are listed as follow: (1) The disparity of female supervisors'subject well-being results in the size of the corporation they serve and the role they play. (2) Having a stronger motivation for fulfillment, female supervisors are used to pursue success in a positive way. The difference of female supervisors'achieving tendency is connected with personal income and position. (3) Female supervisors'big five personality differs in their age, domestic status, personal income and size of corporation. (4) Female undergraduates'subject well-being varies with their grade, major, part-time job, family economic situation, family structure and whether they are the only child. (5) The dissimilarity of female undergraduates'achieving tendency evidently lies in university, grade, major, source of recruitment and family economic situation. (6) Female undergraduates'big five personality differs in university, grade, major and family economic situation. (7) Through comparison the subject well-being, achieving tendency and personality between female supervisors and female undergraduates, this thesis's conclusion is that female supervisors'subject well-being is generally higher than that of female undergraduates, which represents in physical and mental health, development and material. Female supervisors have stronger motivation for fulfillment than female undergraduates. They have a tendency to pursue success in a active way. Personalities of the two are nearly the same, while the former has a more stable emotion, more careful mind and more cautious behavioral style.
