Chinese Korean Sports Culture To Examine

The study of physical education in Korean ethnic groups in China has mainly centred on education at school, athlete training and education in society. References about physical culture are fewer, among which Features of China's Korean Ethnic Groups Physical Culture by Jiang Yun-zhe and Korean Ethnic Groups Physical Culture of Chapter 12 in Social and Culture History of Korean Ethnic Groups by Li Zheng-hua are representative works. A systematic research will be carried out in this paper so as to enrich the study field of physical culture in Korean ethnic groups.The paper applies the theories and knowledge construction of culture as well as theories of sociology, races and history so that Korean ethnic groups physical culture and its inner development laws are probed into systematically.The history and development of Korean ethnic groups physical culture has its peculiar features. It originated in Korean and had matured when the groups immigrated into China. Culture conflicts among nations resulted in various adjustments to the mainstream. Furthermore, theories of culture control and spread offer support to the study of culture nature and connotation, and a deeper understanding of the history of Korean ethnic groups physical culture.Three sections are argued respectively when the history of Korean ethnic groups physical culture referred to: 1. the period of being inferior; 2.the period of popularity; 3.the new trend of development. The nature of Korean ethnic group physical culture is focused on in the paper, which will be the main arguments for future strategies and orientations.Three levels of orientation are made accordingly:1. Korean ethnic groups physical culture is a part of the regional culture with national features;2. The culture trend will have its feet firmly planted in Yanbian area and bring along the development of other Korean ethnic groups physical culture in China;3. Some athletics items will be progressed to the first class the overall level will be influential across the country; Finally, the paper proposes that the physical education in society should be close to people's daily life; the marketing and industrialization of physical culture must be strengthened. As a result, new features of physical culture will be formed and developmental strategies will be formulated.
