The task-based language teaching method (TBTM) is the development of communicative teaching method. It transforms the basic teaching theory into a practical way of teaching in a classroom-learning by doing. At present, the task-based language teaching method has drawn attentions of most language teaching experts. The method emphasizes the output of the target language, strengthens full-scaled development of students in using the language. The new "English Curriculum Standard" published by the National Ministry of Education also recommends TBTM. This method enlarges the students' output of the target language, puts forwards offering an environment of using the language for the learners. TBTM is one of the best ways to reform the traditional English teaching.Meanwhile, the rapid development of information technology has led to the renewal of the thought of education. The integration of information technology and courses has already become the tendency of classroom instruction reform. The integration can build the omni-directional learning environment for the students. It is very important to have such an environment when English is used as a second language.Summarized the current situation in research related to the topic at home and abroad, binding the situation of vocational students in learning English, the problems occurred in learning English and the development of the integration of information technology and the courses, the paper has researched with the method of experimentation, the questionnaire and the method of interview. In teaching practice, with the integration of TBTM and information technology, a much real and vivid language learning environment for students can be set up. The paper analyzes the application of this educational model used in vocational schools, summarizes the experiment and explains the problems which should be paid attention to, it also mentions what should be further improved.
