In June 2001, the new round of elementary education courses reform was firstly carried out in experimental areas of national class. As one part of elementary courses reform, history course reform has also been gradually carried out throughout the country, and "History Course Standard in Full-time Compulsory Education (Experimental Draft)" has been put into use. For one of the performers of "Course Standard"-teacher, how to grasp "Course Standard" in teaching activities is very important. As one of the first 38 national class experimental area, Dalian has experiment upon the history course reform for more than two years. The writer, as one participant of the experimental task, has done a great deal of practical job to test and prove the "course standard". Based on the teaching practice of history, this thesis expounds the characteristics of "Course Standard", starting with which it sets forth the writer's own opinion of how to grasp "Course Standard" in history teaching in junior middle school, and hopes that it can offer some reference to the spread of the new history course throughout the country.
