| The old is a special group. With the development of economy and society, the issue of population aging becomes worse, series of problems followed directly influencing the national quality of life. The quality of life of the old people has become a major social problem to be solved urgently, the solution of which is to guarantee the living standard in their old age. Physical exercise is an effective way to prevent disease, which can build up health, enhance immunity and delay aging.During the process of population aging, the sports life style of the elderly people draws more and more attention. The sports life style is the symbol of the life quality of old people and also the fundamental guarantee to realize the old people’s dream of enjoying the rest of their life.The subjects of this study were the old people living in the senior apartments in four counties of Kunming City, that is, Guandu, Wuhua, Xishan, and Panlong County.The research methodology includes questionnaire, literature method, interview,statistic method and logical analysis and etc.. This study aims to inspect the current situation of the sports life style of old people, including five main aspects:background information of the subjects, their sports values and motivations, s ports behavior, sport consumption and the management of the senior apartments. By means of comprehensive research and analysis, it is hoped to discover the problems and the factors behind so that reasonable suggestions could be proposed to solve the problems and furthermore to provide reference for further development of the sports life style of old people living in senior apartments in Kunming and to lay a theoretical foundation for future research.The present study shows, firstly, the relevant policies and regulations about physical exercise of old people have been introduced, which provides support for the old people to participate in sports activities. Secondly, the economic condition in Kunming is advantageous to develop sports activities in senior apartments. Finally,the special social environment in kunming lays the foundation for the old people todo sports activities, which motivates them to positively integrate into the sports activities.Through the research of the sports life style of old people living in senior apartments in Kunming and based on the actual situation, the present study puts forward some relevant solutions and suggestions to improve their sports life style. |
