In a one-hundred year strategy of a nation, education is the most importantbasic,and it is important for national comprehensive competition.Therefore,we shoulddo our best to implement it. And the teachers are important to the education.Physicaleducation teachers undertake a heavy responsibility to improve the physical fitness ofstudents, promote the physical and mental health, and adapt to the society well.So,inorder to do it best,we must coordinate any elements,to improve physical educationteachers’ teaching competencies,to update their educational concepts,to promote theirprofessional development.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire method, expert interview,by researchingthe social stratification of physical education teacher,to explore the effect of causes ofphysical education teachers’ professional development of primary and middle schoolsin Shandong province.The results show that:1.In policy terms:By sorting the legal, regulations about the school physical education and physicaleducation teachers formulated by the state and the government, we can see that theattention to the school physical education and physical education teachers isstrengthened gradually, therefore we can hold an optimistic attitude to face theproblem of PE teachers’ professional development. But in some aspects, we shouldformulate some concrete policies, to reply the problem of professional development ofPE Teachers’ further specification.2.In terms of occupation expectation:The Shandong province PE teachers in vocational expectations have a bigdifference before and after. The teachers always have a good expectation at thebeginning. But for the entry, because of society and school, resulting in loss ofphysical education teachers occupational expectation. Due to the reduction ofoccupational expectation, the PE teachers professional development is hindered. 3.in professional status terms:Characterization of standards for the professional status of physical educationteachers is the occupation training, salary, teacher qualification. The PE teachers thinkthat the workload is heavy, and the salary is not equation with their work,and thein-service teacher training can always not meet with the needs of physical educationteachers, which result in a lot of psychological problems, affecting the development ofteaching,and the teacher’s social status. For the entry of the teacher training, there arealso some problems, a single mode of training, the training content from the practiceproblem, hindering the teachers’ continuing education,which is not conducive to theprofessional development of PE teachers.
