Marx’s category of need is a basic category of Marxist, it as the foundation of historical materialism is the starting point of the research and analysis of human activities. Marx’s research needs theoretical absorption western philosophy to the needs of research achievement, from the point of view of materialism of combined with the practice, the need for in-depth analysis and research, the main content of the theory include:People’s needs and the nature of research, distinguish between people and animals need different; need levels and types, from both horizontal and vertical hierarchy analysis different need and demand and production, daily life series related to human needs.College students are the future of the motherland and national pillars of high level talents with high quality and capacity, they have a rich and extensive. University moral education to college students as the main object of teaching, it is necessary to investigate the college, undergraduate research needs a variety of characteristics, types and how to meet and realize. On the study of Marx’s theory of needs, both for the reform of college moral education provides theoretical basis and dynamic support. At the same time, which in turn can the need to guide the development of Marx’s theory of needs.
