"Reversibility" is the symbol that a childacquired number concept or number conservation. While studies have found that "vocal reversible explanation" is not equal to "reversibility", and the developmental level of inhibitory controlmay be another important factor. Thus what’s the real relationship between inhibitory control and number concept? Will children’s formation of number concept be facilitated after training of inhibitory control? On the other hand, reflecting abstraction under consciousness is the key process during the formation of number concept. What will happen if children do realize their "reflecting abstraction"? Will they find the logic inevitability by counting to promote their formation of number concept?The empirical research of this study includes study I, study II. And study I consists of preliminary research and official research. In preliminary research, 128 children aged 5-6 were tested by "12 pairs of pieces task" and "judging vegetables’ color task" to verify the relationship between number concept and inhibitory control. Then we chose children whose number concepts haven’t formed, divided them into control group、experimental group I and experimental group II. In official research of study I(32 children in experimental group Iand 35 children in control group), we intervened experimental group I with inhibitory control training. After 5weeks’ training, we checked the level of both two group participants’ number concept to confirm the inference of inhibitory control training to the formation of number concept of children. In study II(30 children in experimental group II and 35 children in control group), we intervened experimental group II with introspective promoting. We checked the level of both two group participants’ number concept to prove the inference of introspective training to the formation of number concept of children. The results show that:1. The developmental level of inhibitory control could positively predict the formation of number concept of children.2. The inhibitory control training could effectively promote the formation of number concept of children.3. The introspective training could effectively promote the formation of number concept of children.
