Teachers’ specialization is becoming the tide and trend of the reform anddevelopment of international teachers’ education. Similarly, it is the practical requireof procession’s build of our elementary and village middle school teachers. Now, it isadvancing the reform of primary and secondary school education in our country, as avillage chemistry teacher, it is necessary to know the direction and demand of middleschool chemistry teachers’ professional development and to improve teachers’chemical teaching methods. In addition, whether or not the new chemical curriculumcan carry out effectively and successfully is depended on how to cultivate a group ofhigh quality chemistry teachers rapidly. For in-service village teachers, we mustresearch their current situation and find questions about them, so we can come out theright way to improve teachers’ professional level. Therefore, by consulting a lot ofcorrelative literrature of teachers’ specialization and investigating the currentsituation of village middle school chemistry teachers in Yunnan Province, we discussand sum up strategies and approaches aimed at promoting the rapid growthdevelopment of village secondary school chemistry teachers.This paper contains four parts:Chapter one: This part summarizes the background of teachers’ professionaldevelopmet and the reason of selecting this topic. The part expounds the trend ofteachers’ professional development in our country and the global. The paper alsoanalyzes the development of teachers’ professional developmet about our country andabroad. At last, it introduces the mean of reseaching specialization of villagechamistry teachers.Chapter two: This part defines the meaning of the teachers’ professionaldevelopment and tell the difference about teachers’ professionalism similar concepts.From the professional knowledge, professional skills and professional ethics andcordiality,the three aspects analyzes the factors of teachers’ professionalization. Atlast, it analyses the elements and the influencing factors of teachers’ specialization.Chapter three: Using the questionnaire to research192village school chemistry teachers in Yunnan province, and then uses SPSS11.5to analysis the date. It stresseson the analyses of frequency, percent and x2test. From these analyses, some problemsfound in the study are putted forword, which aims at to improve the teachers’professional level.Chapter four: Approach analysis, put forword some strategies to the professionaldevelopment of village secondary school chemistry teachers in Yunnan province. Andapplied to the ‘national teachers’ training, has excavated the effective training modeand training courses.
