How to handle the relationship among ethnic groups in a multi-ethnic country is a prerequisite for the national prosperity, as an important area to reflected deep-seated state of ethnic relations, Intermarriage increasingly causing concern. Over the past decade, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China has a high rate of intermarriage, the phenomenon has promoted the developing of the economic and cultural,it also respect the good ethnic relations and a stable social environment of Inner Mongolia. This study selected the Mongol-Han intermarriage couples of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as object, to study the factors of affecting the marriage quality of The Mongol-Han intermarriage from a psychological perspective.Aims:This article from a psychological perspective, studing the personality traits and marriage will, combined with the specific situation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, to study the quality of The Mongol-Han intermarriage and the impact to social stability, the role of communication operating mechanism between The Mongol-Han intermarriage couple and the different characteristics in inter ethnic marriage, to provide practical results and recommendations of national unity.Methods:①survey:16PF Personality Inventory, marital locus of control scale (MLOC) and Olson marital quality questionnaire, to investigate 150 pairs of The Mongol-Han intermarriage couples in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,but also 128 pairs couples(marriage within the ethic) were compared;②in-depth interview: combined the results of the questionnaire, using unstructured interviews to 60 pairs of The Mongol-Han intermarriage couplesContent:1 Which demographic variables will impact marital quality of The Mongol-Han coulpes?2 Are there differences between The Mongol-Han coulpes and the general families in marital quality?3 The roles of personality factors and locus of control in Mongol-Han intermarriage quality.4 The significance and role of Mongolian intermarriage of social stability? Results:1 The marriageable age, marriage type and education level will affect The Meng-Han marital quality,but there is no significant differences in gender, ethnicity, age, income, marital and other demographic variables.2 The Mongol-Han marital quality scores were significantly higher than the general couple, this differences is mainly manifested in the way of conflict resolution, children and marriage, the role of equity in three dimensions.3 Personality traits are significantly related to marital quality. The marriage will and ability factors, background factors and the Mongolian are significantly related to marital quality.4 The Mongol-Han intermarriage is conducive to national relationship, through the way of their family relationship to each other to deepen national understanding, acceptance, behavior, and the ultimate establishment of national friendship.Conclusions:1 The marriageable age, marriage type, education level, these three demographic are with different effects on The Mongol-Han marital quality.2 The personality traits has a certain influence of the Mongol-Han marital quality, personality is different from the extent of the impact of marital quality also varies.3 The marriage will have a special and important role in the Mongol-Han marriage, mainly for the ability fators to help reduce the dimensions of marital quality improvement.4 The Mongol-Han intermarriage shows the differences from other general marriages of psychological aspects, mainly related with the marriage will and personality are different.
