The 21st century is an international high tech era and information era. As an international common language, it's importance shows day by day. English education has become the important component of civic quality-oriented education. Under the big background of new curriculum reforrm,we should summarize the experience of domestic English teaching, derive the overseas advanced teaching thought and teaching method. On the other hand, we should base on the present situation of English education of China primary school in order to solve the existence problems of English teaching earnestly, coordinate fully the factor which influence the primary English teaching, perfect the strategy system and promote English education's development.A proverb in English says:Education must be fun. "English New Curriculum Standard" also pointed out:"At the elementary education stage English curriculum's duty is to stimulate and train the pupil's interest." Game is children's instinct. The introduction of game teaching has precisely complied with this demand.Interest is the best teacher, they learn a lot from the game, such as:English knowledge, experience the study pleasure. It has fostered children's creativity, cooperation ability, human relations ability, independent learning capability and so on. Game teaching has proposed a higher request, such as teacher's professional accomplishment and teaching skill, which has promoted teacher's specialized growth.Game teaching is not the ornament or the classroom surface form which wins favor by ostentation. It is one effective way which not only unearths the student drive, to achieve English teaching goal but also carries out the curriculum reform of elementary school. In preparing lessons, teacher will consider teacher's quality, students'condition, lessons and all factors concerning teaching strategies. Only by doing this will teacher prepare game teaching scientifically and systemically. with guide of construction theory and diverse intelligence theory in teaching process, is a key to grasp teaching opportunities select proper methods, apply effective means, create appropriate situations, arouse interest of English learning, and life-long learning, evaluate teaching activities timely. With above all, game teaching play a vital part in English teaching in the Primary School. English game teaching strategy promoted the English education's sustainable development greatly.
